I can maintain this silence NO LONGERerer...
...because:

a: supernatural's last episode is this week SQUEE!
2: heroes last episodes is next week AAAIIE!
f: my heart is being eaten alive by my new fandom obsession.
98: i had to tell someone about how many layers of thermal underwear i was wearing in bed last night.

So, i am going to be posting this, checking back on a few pages of Flist to see how you all are, and answering old comments. Psych essay bedamned, tonight i... TAKE BACK THE INTERNET!! Rawr!

So, first things first, before my brain asplodes, i must tell you about the glorious love that is "Beauty & The Beast". Or as i know it, "Some Woman & OMG HIS SNOUT GSNARLG NNGSNRGF JFDSAUIH GAJ!"
The former may be catchier, but the latter is truest to my heart.

So yes, i have been spending the last month or so stuck to my television screen with drool, watching sweet heroic angstful Vincent battle the world above, prejudices against his look (what is going on there?? He's fucking gorgeous! The only thing he has to be worried about is being savaged by hoardes of fangirls on the streets of NY), and roars deliciously when he loses control. And inbetween i'm sure he sleeps sometimes, and washes (mmm), and probably eats but we've never seen him do it. Maybe the fangs make it messy. Anyway, for those that don't know this show it's an eighties modern reworking of the traditional fairy tale, played out in NY with Vincent as the Beast (Ron Perlman SQUEE!) living underneath the city in a secret network of tunnels where he is safe. Season one just got released on dvd, and i've just managed to order the rest of the seasons bootleg, so i don't have to wait for the officials to watch all the other eps. Whumping ahoy in season three, wheee!!

And omg Supernatural!! Re penultimate episode: NooooooooooooooooOOOooooOOOoooOOoooooOOO!! Omg omg omg ::jiggles:: I can't wait for tomorrow night. I'm going to get up at 3am and start downloading, so i can maybe watch it before i go to work on Friday if i'm lucky. Dean! Sam! Impala! ::heaves desk out window::

In other news: i have an Archos 604 personal media player for watching eps of stuff on the move, it's very shiny. Parents bought me a tent for my birthday, still choosing, but looking at a Terra Nova Laser Competition, weighing in at 1kg. Also shiny. And work is killing me ded, i am training a new employee who is vastly under-qualified and i'm going slowly insane.

Eeeek, Supernatural! I haven't seen any eps in a while cos sadly, they conflict with CSI on Thursdays and I HAVE TO SEE HOW CSI RESOLVES THIS MINIATURE KILLER THING!!! So no SPN for me, sadly. *pouts*

Thanks about icons, i was surprised by my addition to batb, but mainly i think it's all about Vincent being an animal. I always go for the ones that growl. Yeesh. :/

Definitely worth the effort i think, but then it's hard to watch a show if it just doens't grab you. Second season only gets better, and i am biting my nails to find out what happens in tomorrows ep! AIE!

You must watch BatB, you must! Oh, wait, i'm not supposed to be getting you into new fandoms am i... don't watch it, it's ...rubbish. There's no sexy fangs, nor vengeful rending and gnashing of teeth, and no fantastic eighties hair-do lion-man going on, nor do any scientists at any point kidnap him and strap him to to a table to experiment on him. No sir.

Beauty and the beast huh? Are you doing a tour of my teenage fandoms or what??? I used to pine for that show, though nowadays I'm pretty much, hey, if you loved each other that much, shack up for crying out loud. There is always a way.

But now you've mentioned that they are being released on DVD....::chews a random body part::...hmmm...may consider a purchase :D

And Supernatural! I have been in full on obsession and you've not been here! I've been writing cliffhanger fic (pretty crappy though) and reading and completely drooling over the show. You threw me in and left me to swim on my own. Come back! I must share the joy.

Heeheeeeeeeee! ::snuggles and growls and purrs:: I am so happy to talk to my Nutty agaaaaaaain! I am so hyper tonight, with hearing from everyone again and getting out my excitement at fandoms... this is SO cool that you loved BatB too, yay! I agree with the sentiment on their shacking up, lol. One reviewed i read recently described it as a show where "Vincent and Catherine spend every episode complaining they can't spend enough time together, while spending 80% of the episode together." which i thought was fairly apt. :P

I nearly threw a fit with happiness when they pseudo-kissed at the end of s1, and their happy reunion at the end of that ep just about split a grin on my face. I am such a sap, i can't believe it. I can't wait for season three, when all the violence and shootings set in. Rawr. >:D

I got the bootlegs at sell.com if you were after those. And the officials i just grabbed from amazon.com... season two is out July 10th. Mine's preordered already, whee!

You're right, so right, and i know exactly how that feels, i am so cruel!! Poor Nutty, i'm here now, i had to be, for the finale episode, the excitement was crucifying me! Eeeee, i am so wondering what's going to happen. Dean's going to go spare, that's for sure, whatever happens. I think he's going to crack at some point on this show, and it's going to be agonising to watch. Have you stayed spoiler-free too? I'm not watching the Directors Cuts this week, because i want to be completely unspoiled for the last ep. HEEE! ::squirms::

And i've decided i want to read your fics, so maybe tomorrow or the weekend (run out of time tonight, i've spent all evening catching up on lj, lol, and now it's bed time! i even forgot dinner i was having so much fun!)

i don't even watch SPN, but i've seen parts of a couple epsiodes and i hear about it enough on my flist that i know what's going on. i watched the last ep though and i cried. i'm going to watch the finale this week i think. and cry like a baby. also, Smallville and Scrubs (but i don't think i'll cry over those).

Heroes! i'm excited about that one =D

i know how it feels to have your heart eaten by a new fandom. right now i'm being consumed by anything/everything Simon Pegg (and Nick Frost). especially 'Spaced' which i'm watching on YouTube, and Hot Fuzz.

Yay for getting into Spn! If you fancy watching all of it, and want to do it justice, try not to be tempted to watch out of order. Start from one and work through, it makes so much more sense. Although if you're watching the s2 finale then you're already spoiled for the s1 finale. Nevermind, still watch in order! Their character development is a beautiful thing to behold. :D

New fandom obsession is both fun, and incredibly painful, ain't it? Can't get enough! Nevergot into Spaced, kinda wanted to, because it looked so zany, but when i tried watching it i just didn't find the humour appealing. Ahwells.

Hee, i do, i love the way tv was, with happy endings and no cutting angst (the angst was there in buckets, but it doesn't seem as real to me, so it hurts less, you know?). Thanks on the icons! Obsession makes them easy to churn out. :P

Life is craaazy busy, but i was so overexcited about fandoms i just had to come back briefly and check out how everyone was! Missed you. Might have to leave again after the weekend, but at least i got a few days. :D

I suppose there is something to be said for less realistic angst. Older TV shows do seem less realistic for some reason.

Oh and I meant to ask, have you seen Dark Angel? I'm not sure it's really your kind of show. You seem to go more for the shows with male heros, but in the second season there is a sort of Vincent-like character. Well, in that he looks a lot like Vincent, and the whole beast with the heart of gold thing, but he's not so articulate. He was a bit of a mistake.

Beauty and the Beast. I fought with my Dad weekly on whether I could watch that show (we had all of one TV...and he ruled it in the evenings). It delighted me. I luffed it sooooo much. I want the soundtrack again. *wails* Ron Perlman, reciting love sonnets...with the background music interspersed between. My tape died so very very long ago...maybe they'll re-release it so I can have another copy....

Ohhhh, the memories....

Oh, yes. Very much. Very, very much. *laughs* I remember when Hellboy came out, the local DJ's in Orlando had Mr. Perlman on their show for an interview. He was very funny, very witty, and complained lots about not getting paid enough for being Vincent. *laughs*

I love Ron, you should watch Magnificent 7, Ron's in that and is a cowboy which kinda ticks all my kinky boxes. It has a very hot cast - Eric Close, Michael Biehn, Dale Midkiff... and I'm always trying to corrupt people ;)

And SPN... *wails* Although I had to pause it at the Hoff moment as I had food in my mouth and was struggling to breathe ;)

I remember Beauty and the Beast, although the only episode I truly recall is the one where Vincent is a boy and his friend are playing at the carosel. Ron Pearlman did a beautiful job in it though! He's always been good at that type of thing. I watched Hellboy just for him.

I see you've posted three more, so I will not say anything about Supernatural here... But if you didn't comment there, I will send you a regular e-mail on it. Cause like OMG!

And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I didn't realize it was your birthday!!! *hugs*

Lol, thanks, bday was a while ago. i don't tell people when it is because i hate having one! I try to get anyone who finds out when it is, to forget as quickly as possible.

We can watch some BatB when you visit, if you fancy it! I'll have all seasons bootleg by then, and there is some nice whumping in the latter seasons. Whee!

And i'll definitely talk finale episode shortly on lj, getting my energy back... but email me aaaaaaanyway! :D
